Bellville: Central Location and Easy to Access
Bellville South is an industrial area in the greater Cape Town metropolitan area. It is an excellent site for large industrial users and is particularly popular among distribution and manufacturing companies. Located close to the R300 highway, it can be found between two other notable industrial areas; Stikland Industrial and Parow Industrial. It is also within close proximity to both major national highways; the N1 and N2.
Bellville’s central location makes it easy to access other industrial locations and of course the Cape Town International Airport. It is also accessible by taxi, bus and train.

Bellville South is home to some reputable distribution and manufacturing companies, such as Weylandts and Grindrod Logistics. Consol, Nampak and Alstom & Macsteel are examples of large manufacturing companies located in Bellville South.

Some attractions in the area that may be of interest to employees and visitors include a public swimming pool, a public library and sports grounds.
The main road of Kasselsvlei, which runs through Bellville South, features both walkways and cycle lanes. There are also bus and taxi routes throughout the area making it very easy to access.
The larger suburb of Bellville is home to other attractions such as the Bellville Velodrome, Bellville Golf Club, Cool-Runnings Toboggan Track and the beautiful Tygerberg Nature Reserve. There are also a number of retail centres. Apart from the central location and attractions, Bellville at large is a sought after residential node because there are a number of good schools in the area, as well as the acclaimed University of the Western Cape, which make it a particularly good option for families.
